ETN: International Gas Turbine Conference (IGTC)
Brussels, Belgium, 10-11 October 2018
The conference highlighted the energy market outlook in Europe and in key markets globally. It also provided the opportunity to meet and discuss with policy makers the role of gas turbines in future energy scenarios. Additionally, it presented and disseminated recent R&D activities for flexible, efficient and environmentally sound gas turbines.
The PUMP-HEAT project had the opportunity to present and explain its first results with the following scientific papers, which will be made publicly available by the ETN and our website:
- “INTELLIGENT PREDICTIVE CONTROL OF A PUMP-HEAT COMBINED CYCLE: INTRODUCTION AND FIRST RESULTS”
- “HIGH TEMPERATURE HEAT PUMP – A NOVEL APPROACH TO INCREASE FLEXIBILITY AND EFFICIENCY OF CCGT AND CHP POWER PLANTS”
- “INTEGRATION OF HEAT PUMP AND GAS TURBINE COMBINED CYCLE: LAYOUT AND MARKET OPPORTUNITY”
- “TECHNO-ECONOMIC OPTIMIZATION OF ADVANCED COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANTS INTEGRATED WITH HEAT PUMPS AND THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE
